Marty Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System says they researched the system and were intrigued by its potential, and with the advent of COVID-19, he says it became an easy choice to implement for their facilities. Its portability and small footprint allow the machine to move anywhere, including the ambulance after transferring a patient.
Guthmiller stated that once the COVID-19 outbreak is over, the system will continue to serve, moving forward with other infections, or in surgery, or seasonal flu, or anywhere its needed. Orange City Area Health System will be using this whole-room, germ-killing unit throughout their facilities where needed, including the hospital, medical clinics, and senior care campus.
